We’re Theo and Emma, the team behind What a Catch. Based in beautiful Mooloolaba, we run deep sea fishing charters with a focus on local knowledge, fun on the water, and a genuine love for the ocean.

Theo brings over 15 years of experience in the fishing industry, and there’s not much he doesn’t know about chasing reef species off the Sunshine Coast. I work alongside him, and together we’ve built a business that reflects our passion for the sea, adventure, and now—family life with our baby girl.

We believe a great charter is about more than just the fish. It’s about making people feel welcome, safe, and stoked to be out on the water. Whether you’re a seasoned angler or giving it a go for the first time, we’re here to help you have a day to remember.
